I had two lessons with Mr. Anand Seshadri and I played Chopin
Ballade in g minor. He explained the motifs, phrases, and
development clearly and I liked his approach. Also, equally
important, he is very professional and warm in his communication

It gives me great privilege and honour to write about Sri. AnandSeshadri ,
one of the best western classical pianists i n India. He

an in-depth knowledge.
Two years back I was a stranger to him and I still remember how
unhesitatingly he responded to my message and invited me to
his place in Chennai. The interaction had a deep impact on me.
He listened to my playing patiently and gave me a few tips and
advice which are still embedded in my mind. He asked me to
enjoy the process of
l earning and respect the composer. He
stressed on deep study, dynamics and not to do showy stuff.
Also to not let your failures put you down. I have met him only
once but he never made me feel that. I wish I could meet him
quite often and enrich
myself with his vast knowledge.
As a person he i s simple, humble and down to earth , probably
that shows his spiritual strength.
Anand is a devoted pedagogue whose talent as a composer and
passionate rigor as a pianist will be of great benefit to any
student.
